I guess I was "supposed" to try to use every item in the game with every other item and every environmental object, but that's just padding, not actual meaningful content. I scanned every room for everything I could possibly click on, read every presented dialog for everything that had it, and got stuck at one point (Didn't realize how to pick up the spoon), and still came in under 3 hours. Publicado originalmente por NewMoonShadow: Enjoy the story and have fun with the game. It is essentially a puzzle-solving telltale game. It's always about some form of competition, whether of just speeding through the story to get some gun online or getting all of the achievements (seriously, so many people here are trying to find all of the achievements and a few people have already). Like, no one tries to enjoy games anymore. No one should be skipping all of this dialogue unless they are going into the game with the typical thought process of just speeding through it. The point of Act 1 on both Homestuck AND Hiveswap is to build the atmosphere and partially give you an idea of what the characters are like. It will take at LEAST a couple months though.Īlso, whenever someone says, "I beat it in 2 hours", I tend to say to myself, "Okay, so you either skipped through ALL of the dialogue except the character interactions and the puzzles were childsplay, or you're lying. With the same team? I'm not sure, but probably. Of course they have probably been working on the other acts but also keep in mind they are making a separate game at the same time. That includes any problems they run into along the way. Plus wasn't the game switched to an "episodic" release relatively recently? There MUST be progress made on future content already. Act 1 was only 2-3 hours long, 4 if you read literally everything (which I did). Publicado originalmente por Hee Ho:There is no way in hell it would take 2 years for the second act to be made. Waiting a year or more between chapters is just absolutely insane. I HAVE to believe the rest is close to finished and will be released one episode every couple of months or so. I understand this is a pretty small team, but releasing a game in 2 hour chunks on a YEARLY schedule is just. ![]() They are also developing Hauntswitch which will be interestingįrankly there's no way it should take one year between acts. The only thing that would be time-consuming to develop are the puzzles.Īlso the fact that this series will consist of ONLY 4 acts. Hussie, Hussie knows. There is no way in hell it would take 2 years for the second act to be made. The game did just come out today, but maybe they were working ahead which is why it was delayed. Publicado originalmente por The Qweakster GoGQWKgive:Probably in 2 years. (this is my first review so sorry if it's bad X:O). I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes great stories, or anyone who's a homestucker. The characters were hilarious, and the animation and the story were amazing. ![]() Joey is forced to flee to the attic, leaving her brother in his tree house.
